The show must go on…

In the first days after Donald Trump's election, a significant part of the world population was in apparent shock, mourning, and frustration. That has quickly changed: Now, we once again choose to compartmentalise politics, because what good could our emotions do?

I also choose to be silent, unless I have something to share. But choice does not seem as safe as usual when being calm cannot be distinguished from approving of the situation.

I am aware that the political changes that are bringing Donald Trump into office are a threat to Germany, New Zealand, Europe, and possibly anyone on our planet. Although there is not much expertise to share at this point, maybe I should still put continuous effort into raising awareness about it. Personal focus on the essential doesn't remove the responsibility of a platform.

Talking about anything but Trump still feels wrong.
